ASOS has some cool prints!

I found some interesting prints at Asos while looking for a pair of skinny jeans. I never thought of shopping at Asos, I thought it was for wags only... but after having spent most of my Friday running around trying to find a replacement for my beloved Ja Brand skinny jeans, I decided to try online. I will let you know once I receive the jeans if the experience was fully successful.

Ties with a twist, from Sovereign Beck

I love ties! I think they add so much to a man's outfit and these guys at Sovereign Beck found a way to add a twist to it. Their patters are very cool!

Lovely packaging

This brand of cosmetics and detergent, Dauble & Bauble, has lovely packaging, and what struck me is that you can choose the pattern you want for your bottles. I love that! I bore easily and this way I can have a different design every time I buy!

Paul & Joe wallpapers

Paul & Joe now have makeup too! I was browsing their site, enjoying all the pretty packaging and I found these very cute wallpapers at the their website. The floral is beautiful, striking and it has an endearing "handmadeness" to it. The cat wallpaper as well, looks hand-drawn and it is offbeat-cute.

Marc Ecko and 50 Cent collaboration

I have to say, not that I would wear his clothes, they are a little too "street" for me, but I am loving these new prints in the Marc Ecko and 50 Cent G Unit collection.

Julia Rothman for Hello Lucky

We came across Julia's work a while back and even carried some of her print collection for a while. I love the way she is going now, with these beautiful designs for Hello Lucky!

Petra Borner

I found Petra Borner today through the Print and Pattern and I totally love her work! They are beautiful pieces, everything looks so organic (not in a "whole-foods" way) but organic as in forms from nature, with a twist that makes it special. The colours are amazing as well. Here are my faves:

Non cutesy creatures

I was just going through the weekend's must-reads and came across Donna Wilson on the Standard magazine (which comes out on Fridays but I didn't make it to reading it till today because who has the time?) She creates little creatures and home furnishings that are lovely in an non-cutesy way. What grabbed my attention were the patterns on the creatures and furnishings. Donna is a textile designer (who happens to be a neighbor, sort of...) and her style is really cool.

We love Kate Moross, and she is doing great work for Topshop! We interviewed her for our other blog last year and since then we have been many great new projects coming from her.
