The florals of Spring are old but new. Some of them could have been around in the 70's, others are interpretations of what could have been around in the 70's. They are all very painterly, very feminine, very strong, which make them very 2008.

Cath Kidston floral

I don't particularly like the floral painterly trend that's going on right now, but it is impossible to ignore it because it is literally EVERYWHERE! I found this Cath Kidston dress that perfectly illustrates it.

Topshop Top florals

Florals are vintage, small, colorful and slightly grandma-ish... I am loving these from Topshop.

Tiny flowers

Very small flowers are blooming everywhere. Winter hasn't quite left us yet but Spring is at the door, knocking, demanding that we let her in. Why wait after all? these floral ditsy dresses have been spotted all around town, peeking out of overcoats, paired with Uggs, skinnies or very bright, very opaque tights... Reminiscent of Liberty, the small florals are here to stay.
